Hello Nature Lovers, Parents, and Educators,

Today I’m sharing a poem I wrote called “Winter Quiet”.

trees dressed in snow

carnival of white

trails of fluff

icy crunch under my feet

chilled breezes

crisp air to breathe

showers of snowflakes

surprising beauty

whirl into mounds

move into drifts

pile high

frozen lakes

frosted mountain tops

warm house

winter quiet
