At heart, I’m a Nature Lover, and this is reflected in most of my creative endeavors.
I also enjoy singing and listening to the music and sounds of nature.
The harp is my favorite instrument, which I’m learning to play.
Here’s a prose-poem I wrote that I hope to set to music soon:
Nature’s Song
Nature’s Pages…ever fresh and unfolding
from The Creator
Nature’s Pages are full of surprises.
a lofty tree
waving to me
a fragrant flower
blooming free
a friendly bird
singing my song
the canopy of blue
hovering over me
the rolling sea
calling my name
the glistening stars
silvery in the moonlight
These all gently speak to me.
These all gently speak to me.
Nature truly inspires my creativity and my dreams for the future world to come.
On that note, I want to leave you with this prose-poem I wrote entitled, “Once Upon a Time in Eden: Paradise Restored”:
Endless day
neither hot or cold
perfect temperature
Peace
once elusive
remains
security,
the common gain
Eternal garden
open zoo
friends who never leave
Time takes on new meaning
ceaseless exploration
to grow
learn
and share the abundant life
Love is everything
boundless
forever worthy
Glowing in health
hospital closed
ambulance silenced
laughter and strength abound
No confusion
true knowledge reigns
wisdom prevails
Beauty sings
clean, pure world
treasured by everyone
All God’s children play.
every nation, kindred, and tongue mingle,
no anxiety for tomorrow
no remorse about yesterday
Many make one
harmony is family
reunions abound
the long wait is ended
ours together forever
in Paradise
Let’s connect together again soon. This is Elvy saying goodbye for now.
